Hello! This is Tominaga, Kenta,

Most of you may probably be wondering
“Why On Earth is he writing a blog in English?”
Well, to get you to understand, I would like to talk about myself a little bit.
I am a junior student of Waseda University (I am about to be senior!)
My major is School of International Liberal Study
(which is officially called, SILS.)
One of the biggest reasons why I chose this major is
that I wanted to improve my English ability.
In SILS, there are
many international students
comoing from all over the world,
as well as Returnees (Kikokushijo in Japanese.)
In addition… all the activities are done in English!!
Professors teach in English,
Students talk in English,
Assignment is given in English,
Many docunments that students make are written in English…
and so on!
Therefore, I think SILS is one of the best colleges in Japan
for people who want to learn practical English.
In fact, I have surely made huge progress in English;
Neither had I been to any foreign country
nor used English on daily basis when I entered SILS.
So at first, my campus life was very hard;
even just to listene to and understand
what Professors were saying were difficult.
However, by making effort,
I finally overcame the difficulty
and found myself much better at English!
Now, my dream is to work globally,
using English in business world.
It is because I like Englsih,
and I want to help more and more people
through “What I Can Do.”
…That is English!
After reading the loooong story of myself,
now I can tell you
“why I decided to write today’s blog in English.”
It is because “I want to work in English,“
and Writing Blogs for You
is one of my tasks here!
I did it, right??
Of course, this level of writing does not match the required level for business,
so I need to keep making effort to improve my skills.
However, what I want to say is that
“Making A Dream Come True”
is far simpler than you might think,
especially if your dream is
“To Become Able to Use English.”
There is one simple rule to make it;
“Just Do It, Then It Will Come.”
